George,
It was great to connect with you during our 50th SFX ’61 graduation reunion. Although our classmates are scattered around the country it was a kick to see old friends after all these years. We were lucky to share laughs and tell tall tales when we reminisced about our exploits from long ago.
Vaya con dios George
I have many childhood memories of George which bring a smile to my face these many years later. May he rest in God’s arms and his family and friends feel God’s loving peace.

To the Krug fanily
I am truly saddened by the loss of such a good man.
I had lunch with George, Rob Bill and Robert in late July and George was so upbeat, I didn’t realize it would be the last time I would see him. All of us had a great time and a lot of laughs, George’s wit was uncanny.
I lived across the street from the yard at 119th St. and often talked to George about growing up with bulldozers, cranes, dump trucks end loaders etc. it was every boys dream, full size Tonka toys to play on
Georges’s cars, 67 Pontiac Bonneville, 68 GTO and 69 Chevy S.S. with a 427. he was always in the yard between 530 and 6 am to send the trucks out.
A few years later part of my job was to patrol the same yard as a police officer, if George was in the office he would make it a point to stop me and say hello.
George and the Krug family will always be in my prayers.
