Marjorie C. Blume, age 79, of Naperville. Beloved wife of Dennis. Loving mother of Rick (Robin) Nielsen and Randy (Peggy) Nielsen. Step-mother of Ben (Christiane) Blume, Alec (Gina) Blume and Eileen (Jay) Gavin. Devoted grandmother of Rachael, Trenton, Kirsten, Jennifer, Eric, Alicia, Ashley, Nat, Katie, AJ, Casi, Bethany, Jamie and Paige. Great-grandmother of Penny and Flo. Devoted sister of Diane (Gary) Fischer. Services and interment will be private. Marge was a beautiful and strong woman. Her husband Dennis, loved her dearly and was everything a husband should be making sure throughout their life together, her needs were fulfilled & her wishes, respected. Her two sons, Rick & Randy & their wives Robin & Jennifer, displayed true love & loyalty for her which was especially evident the last year of her life.
This speaks to the woman Marge was. Loyalty and love received comes from loyalty and love bestowed. When family surrounded her she obviously experienced her happiest moments. We would hear her infectious and fun-filled laughter and smile along with her, wherever we were.
Her grandchildren were especially important to her and as her family grew, her arms became wider to encompass them. She wanted the best for them and she & Dennis made sure they each had the opportunity to BE the best.
Family is important in everyone’s life and in this family her positive presence will be felt during each and every gathering and her laughter will fill our hearts.
