Albert W. Suomi, age 100, of the LaGrange Highlands, Illinois, formerly of Eveleth, MN., Passed away on September 23, 2014 in LaGrange, IL. Longtime owner of Al’s Hardware in LaGrange, Illinois and former Hockey Player for the Chicago Blackhawks in 1936. Beloved husband of the late Anna Rose (nee Bedenk); devoted father of Anne (Neil) Mac Lean, Marilynn Twigg, Albert H. Suomi and the John K. (Kathleen) Suomi; cherished grandfather of 11; loving great-grandfather of 24; proud great-great-grandfather of 2; uncle of many. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 27, at the Brainard Avenue Baptist Church, 6251 S. Brainard Ave., Countryside, IL. 60525.  Interment Private. Kindly omit flowers.
