Ewa Trecartin, nee Jaroszuk, age 48, of LaGrange, IL; loving mother of Charlotte and Caroline; wife of Cary; daughter of Maria and the late Michal Jaroszuk; sister of Alina Engel; aunt of Simon Engel. Ewa passed away peacefully, Feb. 12, surrounded by family and friends. Visitation 3 to 9 PM Friday, Feb. 14, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Our prayers and sympathies go out to Ewa’s family, what a beautiful person she was.
We will always remember her visits to the lakes and cabins in Minnesota, she was so pleasent to visit with. Although she gone we will all have the memories of her presence. May god bless her family.

Alina, I had stopped back to check on Ewa on Friday. Now I know why there was no one home. I’m so sorry to hear that she passed. But I want you to know what an angel you were for her. That is a difficult job but I’m sure she is smiling at you now. Peace to all of you.
