Richard Gilbert “Gil” Kaufman, Ph.D., 81, of Chicago. His career included serving as a research chemist with Zenith Corporation, Amoco and BP. Beloved son of the late Meade and Regina.  Loving brother of J. David (Barbara) and Warren F. (Joan A.) Kaufman.  Dear uncle and great-uncle of many.  Visitation 2 to 9pm Friday, May 23^rd at St. Mary of the Angels Church (Museum Room), 1850 N. Hermitage, Chicago.  Gil will be lying in state in the church’s sanctuary from 8:30am on Saturday, May 24^th, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30am.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Midtown Educational Foundation, 718 S.
