Siffermann  age 89, U.S. Merchant Marine Veteran and Honor Flight Recipient, member of the Midwest Chapter of the U.S. Merchant Marine, former resident of Bellwood, Glen Ellyn and Plainfield and served as former Treasurer for the Villages of Bellwood and North Riverside. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis B. (nee Jepsen); devoted father of William P. (Patricia), Susan J. Wilson, John E. (Debbie), Jeane (Ron) Mundy and Mary Ruth O’Brien; cherished grandfather of 12; proud great-grandfather of 15.  Visitation Monday, January 12, from 8:30 am until time of a 9:45 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005  S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs. Private Family Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Honor Flight Chicago or the Charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
