Cecilia “Cel” Anna (Nowak) Krizek, age 95, died peacefully in her Indian Head Park home October 28. Remembered for her prolific knitting, passion for polish cooking, and commitment to family. Devoted wife to the late John Krizek. Loving sister to the late Frank (late Dolores) Nowak, late Chester (late Eleanore) Nowak, and Lorraine (late Walter) Sava. Survived by sons John (Christina) and Kevin Krizek; grandchildren Madalyn (Luke) and Elliott (Kayla); great-grandchildren Phoenix, Harper, and Cora; as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation 3 to 9pm Sunday, November 1 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers 10:30am Monday, November 2 from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, Mass 11:15am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
