Thomas Keating Maley, 87, of Willowbrook.  Loving husband of Loretta Murphy Maley.  Son of the late Cletus E. and Kathryn K. Maley.  Father of Michael (Christine), Mary Maley (Marvin Eckhardt), Tricia (Michael) Dow, Kathleen Maley and the late Thomas Maley, Jr.  Grandfather of Thomas, III, Sophia and Jack Maley, Hannah Woodford, Michael, William, Kathryn and Ryan Dow.  Cousin of Jane Jacobsen.  Devoted caregiver Sabrina Barandiaran.  Tom was born in Chicago on Aug. 29, 1928, and raised in St. Francis Xavier Parish, LaGrange.  He was a graduate of Lyons Township H. S., Beloit College, The American Savings & Loan Institute Graduate School and School of Advanced Management.  After college, Tom enlisted in the Army during the Korean War.  After over 30 years of service, he retired from Chicago Federal Savings/Pathway Financial as Chairman and CEO.  During these years, he served as Chairman of The Greater Chicago State St. Council, President of the Illinois Savings & Loan League, President of the Chicago Area Council of Insured Savings & Loan Assns. and Trustee of the Institute of Financial Education.  In retirement, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago appointed him Chairman & CEO of Glen Ellyn Savings & Loan.  Tom was also a member of The United States Agency for International Development Team, performing a housing study in Nairobi, Kenya.  He later served as a member of the DuPage County Board of Review.  Visitation 3 to 8pm Friday, Jan.29 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.  Prayers 11am Sat., Jan. 30 at the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Church, LaGrange for Mass at 11:30am.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated.  Further info. 708/352-6500 or www.hjfunerals.com
