Cathleen “Casey” Nilles, age 26; beloved daughter of Sandy (nee Woodyatt) and Anthony Nilles; dear sister of Carey and Katrina Nilles; fond granddaughter of Catherine and the late Lyle Woodyatt ; Jane and the late Herbert Nilles (late Colleen). Visitation 4 to 9pm Friday, March 11 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 9am Saturday, March 12 from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs. Mass 9:45am. Interment private. Our deepest condolences for the loss of dear Casey. She was a dear and beloved friend, especially to our dear Maddy. She will be long remembered by us all. A memorial donation was made by the McGuire/Rosen/Fritz family in her honor to the Loeys Dietz Syndrome Foundation.

I wish I could have met your remarkable Casey. I know she was an inspiration to all who knew her or, like me, knew of her. It makes absolutely no sense to scroll through the photos here and see people who have lived a long life and then come to your sweet Casey. My heart aches for you.

Sandy, much love to you and your family in your time of sorrow. I met Casey once and immediately felt her warmth and sweetness. Even after expressions of sympathy cease, remember that Casey will remain in the hearts and minds of those who knew her. Remember too how deeply friends care.
