Robert J. Pondelicek, age 74, of Countryside.  US Army Veteran.  Beloved husband of Maxine.  Loving father of Chris Pondelicek, Cyndy Pondelicek and Bob (Bere) Pondelicek.  Devoted grandfather of Connor and Maddy Prokaski and Maxwell Pondelicek.  Dear brother of Josephine (LeRoy) Jacobs.  Fond uncle to many.  He was preceded in death by his siblings Jim, Joe and Ed.  Robert was a 45 year resident of Countryside and served as a city alderman for many years.  Visitation 3-9pm Thursday June 2nd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside.  Prayers 10:15am Friday June 3rd from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church in LaGrange for Mass at 11am.  Interment private.  Memorials in Robert’s memory may be made to Support Our Troops.  Funeral info 708-352-6500
