Al  Korenkiewicz  age 97, of Western Springs. Beloved husband of the late Ann (nee Krzus); devoted father of Robert Korenkiewicz and Alan (Mary Elaine) Koren; cherished grandfather of Kathryn, Michael (Hayley) and Megan; proud  great-grandfather of Christopher; dear brother of Betty (the late Bill) Suchocki, Theodore (the late Mildred) Korenkiewicz, Dorothy (John) Goberville and the late Raymond (the late Lorraine) Korenkiewicz; uncle of many. Family & friends to gather for a visitation on Saturday August 6, from 8:45am until 9:30am followed by a 9:45am  Mass of Christian Burial at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Hallowell & James Funeral Home  in Countryside is assisting the family with all arrangements.
