Claude Rossi, 78, of Darien, formerly of Burr Ridge.  Beloved husband of Barbara for 49 years.  Loving father of Jonathon, Sr., Jennifer, Jonathon “J. S. Army from 1962-1968.  He was an electrical engineer, and built the waste conversion facility in Tulsa, OK.  He was a soccer coach and referee at the elementary and secondary school levels, and founded the soccer program in Burr Ridge.  Claude enjoyed gardening, cooking and vacationing, especially near the ocean.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Downers Grove at 630/964-6500.
