Aurora Ingco Mangahas  age 78, of Darien, passed away on December 18, 2016. Aurora courageously immigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 1966 and is survived by her loving sisters Carmelita (Edilberto) Ortiz and Martina (Renato) Moraga. She is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews. Aurora’s life was marked by many years of service to others. She served patients at McNeal Hospital in Berwyn for 30 years. Aurora was also an active member of St. Cletus parish in LaGrange where she volunteered as a CCD teacher and Eucharistic Minister.  Aurora was also deeply devoted to her nieces and nephews and was a source of tremendous support to all of them.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, from 4 until 9 pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Wednesday, December 28, with prayers to begin at 9:30 am from the chapel and proceed to St. Cletus Church in LaGrange for a 10 am Mass.
