Joseph M. Marasco, formerly of LaGrange, IL passed away on Sat., Dec. 31, 2016 at the age of 91. Joseph, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Salerno) Marasco, was born in Cicero, IL on Oct. 30, 1925.  He served in the US Navy in the South Pacific during WWII. He retired from Argonne National Laboratory.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frances (Pouba), sons Frank and David, and grandson Paul II. Also preceding him in death are his sister and brother-in-law Florence (Peter) Bengala. He is survived by his 2 sons Paul (Laurie), Joseph (Laura); grandchildren, Frank (Melissa), Dawn, Jennifer, Joseph, Tim, Frank, and Anthony; great-grandchildren Micaela, Melissa, Kelsey, Quintin, Nicolas, Kayley, Aiden, Hunter, Gavin, Mackenzie, and Madison; brother Felix (Elaine) and sister-in-law Dorothy (late Donald) Torres; and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation 3-9pm Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th Street, Countryside where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.
