Walter Steven Sendziol, age 94, of Berwyn; devoted husband of the late Florence Rose (nee Tukiendorf); loving father of Cassandra Blazer; proud grandfather of Andrew, Sarah Agnes, & Steven Marc; father-in-law of Jim Horstman & Michael Blazer; Brother of the late John (Sally) Sendziak, Anthony (Marie) Sendziol, Emil (Lillian) Sendziol, Emily (Kelly) Cienkus; brother-in-law of Dolores (Richard) Penkava, Frances (late Alfred) Paulis, the late Emily (Roman) Dziennik, Lillian (Bob) Slezak, Lucille (Frank) Tokarski; loved uncle of many; friend to all family pets and neighborhood dogs. Walter was a member of Teamsters Local 727, St. Leonard Holy Name Society, founding patron of Ave Maria University; music lover, trumpet player. Visitation Thursday, June 1 from 4 to 8:30pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Family and friends asked to meet at St. Leonard Catholic Church, 3318 Clarence Ave., Berwyn for Mass on Friday, June 2 at 10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.   1. My heartfelt condolences and sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time.
    In times like this love, consoling words of friends and understanding is truly needed. Mr. Walter will be deeply missed by all who loved him. May you find comfort in knowing God ( Psalms 83 : 18 ) is close to the brokenhearted. ( Psalms 34 : 18 )

  3. We love and miss you Walley. Our heart broke into pieces when we learned of your passing while we were out of town. Maya is going to miss her doggy treats. My deepest condolences go out to Walley’s family. Walley will never be forgotten.
