Anne Brown Donnersberger, Ed.D, of Western Springs. Beloved mother of Dr. David Donnersberger (Dr. Claire Kenneally), Anne (Michael) Schultz and Aileen Donnersberger. Loving grandmother of Mary and David Donnersberger, Charlie and Tommy Schultz. Devoted sister of Bernadette (Michael) Fallaw, Virginia (Richard) Linting, Patricia (William) Folger and the late Thomas Brown. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many, and beloved friend of many. Anne was a professor for over four decades at Moraine Valley Community College, DePaul University, and Northern Illinois University. One of the most AMAZING and strong women I’ve had the privilege of knowing. She will be missed. SO sorry for your loss.
My Aunt Anne was a smart, kind, wonderful, strong woman. I will always remember her leading us in science experiments when we came to visit. We laughed and learned, made a complete mess of the kitchen and she was delighted. My prayers are with you Anne, Aileen and David. God bless you, Aunt Anne.

I remember Anne Donnersberger so fondly from classes I took at Moraine Valley College. I was returning to college after having children, pursuing a teacher degree. Anne was so supportive in my quest and the knowledge I obtained from her classes was immeasurable – she was ‘brilliant’

A dear friend, an intelligent woman, a lover of adventure. Generations will carry on with the knowledge imparted to them from Anne’s many classes and adventures. David, Anne, Aileen you are the best examples of your mother’s work. She will be sorely missed but happy in God’s Holy Arms.

Aunt Anne always made the room light up. We always knew we would have a day or evening of laughter when we were going to visit her. She had a way of always making us feel welcome, at ease and very loved. I knew I could be completely myself with Aunt Anne — what a beautiful gift that was. She will forever be an inspiration to us all – as an educator, as a mom and as an incredible woman who had the strength of many. She made an impact on more people than she would ever know. She faced challenges with grace, humor and an intense belief in her faith. We love you, Aunt Anne, now and always. You will forever be by our sides as we celebrate life’s triumphs and simple moments, as we sludge through days of sadness, and as we wake up each morning and need a little nudge… to keep at it… so we can make life a little better for someone else. Thank you for the beautiful person that you were and always will be, Aunt Anne. Till we meet again!
