Joseph P. Glimco, Jr. (82), passed away December 16, 2017. Son of Joseph Paul and Lena Glimco; loving husband of Mary Marguerite (Maggie); devoted father of Joseph Paul III, John (Becky), Jim (Margaret), Greg (Beth), Mary Lee, Julie (Jim McDermott), Peter (Melissa), and Matthew; cherished grandfather to fourteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Visitation 3 to 9 PM Wednesday, December 20, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers 9:15 AM Thursday, December 21 from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 S. Wolf Rd., Western Springs for mass at 9:45 AM. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. A true example of a life well lived. The kindest, sweetest, funniest devoted husband, father & grandfather to grace this earth. So many great memories of the Glimco family when we were kids. Can’t tell you how much we think of you all to this day. Forever in our hearts. Love, the Gorman kids.
