Alan M. Kowalik, age 71, of Woodridge.  Beloved husband of Roberta for 48 years.  Loving father of Michael (Jennifer), Robert (Rebecca), Nicholas (Amanda) and Lauren.  Devoted grandfather of Zachary, the late Jacob, Isabella, Kaitlyn, Jack, Madison and Hailey.  Dear brother of Carol Johnson, Jim (Pat) Kowalik, Kathy (Joe) Kowalik-Brogan and David Kowalik.  Visitation 3-9 p.m. Thursday May 3rd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove.  Family and friends will meet Friday May 4th at St. Scholastica Church, 7800 Janes Ave., Woodridge for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be appreciated.  Funeral home phone 630-964-6500

  5. Al , you will be missed . Roberta and family near and far, we are broken hearted by this loss. A Chicago Bears Fan, I’m sure they lost an avid fan. His one liners, and his dry humor made us smile.
