Philip M. Blaze, age 75, of Indian Head Park, formerly of Western Springs, passed away peacefully at home. US Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Judy E. Blaze (nee Kaempf) for a wonderful 51 years. Loving father of Kimberly (Jason) Joseph, Keith Blaze, and Amy (Terry) Becker. Devoted grandfather of Zachary and Emily Joseph, and Allie Becker. Dear brother of Marilyn Greenwell. Philip was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Marion Blazevich, and sisters Joyce Bluder and Joanna Blazevich. Brother-in-law of Robert (Carole) Kaempf, Larry (Beverly) Kaempf, and the late Paul Kaempf. Fond uncle and friend of many. Philip was a graduate of Lyons Township Highschool and Butler University. He was a retired pharmacist. Philip enjoyed spending time at his cottage in the UP of Michigan, fishing and boating for the last 25 years. Visitation 3 to 9pm, with Funeral Service held at 7pm Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment private.
