Ella E. Pergl, 91, of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Downers Grove. Beloved wife of the late Robert R. Oates and the late David P. Pergl. Loving mother of Terry L. (Judi) Pergl of Winnegabo, IL, Cynthia E. (David) Pennington of Indian Trail, NC, the late Robert R. (late Ellen) Oates, Sr. of Chattanooga, TN, and the late Randy P. (Rachel) Pergl of Carmel, IN.   Devoted grandmother of 18 and great-grandmother of 16. Ella was preceded in death by her brothers Jim, Jack and Bobby, her sisters Tommye and Shirley, and her loving parents Thomas and Nola Walker. Ella primarily cared for her family as a homemaker, but had also worked at Western Electric Corporation and Sunbeam Corporation both in Cicero, as a beautician from her home and Wescom Corporation (later renamed Rockwell International) in Downers Grove.
