Jacquelynn “Jaki” Krystel Walters, 35, of Smyrna, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 27, 2018.
Beloved wife of James of Smyrna, TN; cherished daughter of Art Neubauer of Gallatin, TN and the late Debbie Decker of Smyrna, TN; dear sister of Dan Pulaski, of Smyrna, TN, the late Nicole Neubauer and the late Arthur (Michael) Neubauer of Downers Grove, IL; beloved granddaughter of Margaret and the late Arthur Neubauer of Downers Grove, IL and the late Ken Decker and Doris Smock of Wilmington, IL; cherished daughter-in-law of Jack and Leandra Walters; also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jaki was born January 17, 1983, in Hinsdale, IL, graduated from Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN and attended University of Kentucky and MTSU. She married James Walters on June 25, 2005.
Jaki was an LPN and Surgical Technologist for Advantage Support Services, Inc., working throughout the greater Nashville area. Outside of her career, Jaki trained for national triathlons, which she participated in regularly. She also loved animals, especially her two rescue dogs, Brewer and Lily.
Visitation from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 -75th Street (at Fairview Ave.), Downers Grove, IL 60516; Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10th at St. John Lutheran Church, 7214 Cass Ave., Darien, IL. In state on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
