Terry Conwell, age 65, of LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of Toni (nee Gervase) for a wonderful 41 years. Loving father of Stephanie (Rick) Hicks and Andrew Conwell. Devoted Papa of Brady and Austin Hicks. Fond brother, uncle, and friend of many. Terry worked for Ford Motor Company for 25 years. Terry loved to travel, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Blackhawks. Visitation 3 to 9 pm Monday, November 26th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Meet at the funeral home 9:15 am Tuesday, November 27th for chapel prayers and procession to St. Francis Xavier Church, LaGrange for 10 am Funeral Mass. Interment private.

  2. Toni, & family, Chuck, & I have many fond memories of Terry, at Ford. He was such a wonderful person, & boss. We’re so, so sorry for your loss. He will be fondly remembered by many .

  3. My Dear Terry, what a wonderful and awesome blessing it was to have such a great guy like you for a boss and then my partner as I changed positions. You gave me great advice and was always willing to help no matter what your day was going like. I remember our in-depth conversation when you told me you were retiring and I was in tears. You said hey, my number is not going to change you can always give me a call. I’m going to miss you. God Bless your family .

  10. I offer condolences and deepest sympathy to Terry’s family. I worked with Terry during my 5.5 years in Chicago and I couldn’t have asked for a better person on my team. Rest in Heaven, dear Terry. You were a class act and an example of kindness for all of us.

    A better person there was not! We had the pleasure of knowing this beautiful man for many decades. Every time we saw Terry he was always upbeat, happy and positive; even after he was diagnosed with this dreadful disease. This is the way we will always remember him. He left us way too soon, but feel blessed to have had him in our life for so many years. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. His smiling face will always be with us.

  12. Terry was a great guy and was always willing to lend a helping hand and give advice. Seeing him always made you smile because he was kind and funny and always had something thoughtful to say. Sorry for the families loss, the world was a better place with him in it and I know he will be missed for a long time

  13. I missed Terry the day he retired. Our daily talks about the Cubs and family and grandchildren. He was great to work with and now will be missed even more. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May you realize how much everyone loved Terry, and how much he loved his family.
