  1. It was fun having Mike as a rendezvous buddy for close to 20 years at the JML gatherings. Mike was fun to be around, generous and a good cook. He was a man of many interests and talents. We had a lot in common. Visiting his camp at the I&M was always an informative experience. Hanging out at his garage which he was usually organizing or making some camp item at his workbench, fishing, shooting the muzzle loaders at the club or just sitting around camp, we had some good times. The recounts of his kayak/smallmouth fishing voyages down the Dupage at the club were enviable. I was looking forward to joining him on one this summer and pledge to do one in his honor. He worked hard at the factory and thankfully was able to enjoy some retired life before this second battle with cancer. And battle it he did, courageously. I’m truly saddened it got the best of him. I’ll miss Mike and my deepest feelings of sorrow go out to his wife Alice and son Matt. Joe Bukovsky
