Janet Grgec, age 77, of Cicero. Beloved mother of Stanko (Crystal), the late Timothy and Tamara Grgec. Loving grandmother of Mercedez, Timothy and Nino Grgec, and Keaton Poteet. Dear sister of Kathleen (the late Ron) Circelli. Cherished aunt of Ron (Laura) and Chris (Gina) Circelli. Fond great-aunt and friend of many. Visitation 2 to 7pm Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Meet at the funeral home 10:30am Monday, February 11th for prayers and procession to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs for 11:15am Mass. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Prayers and memories of Janet. She was loved by everyone in the family. She will be so missed. She was the person that kept everyone in family posted with information about everyone. I am so glad I got to see her at the family picnic this year.
You could always count on her to make the greatest desserts that we all will miss. I’m sure she will be met in heaven by all those of the family that are there now. I am so glad I belonged to the family when I married her cousin John Gora. I’m sure he is there asking about the family.
