  1. Aunt Gerry, Lisa and family – I am so sorry for your loss.

Ernie was such a big part of my childhood as you know. God we did everything together. We followed our Cubs, played baseball, collected baseball cards, enjoyed christmas eve parties at Non and Pops house, collected matchbox cars together, and had tons of sleep-overs. I remember him talking about how he was going to catch the ultimate Muskie when he went on vacation with family, and later on down the road as teens we both enjoyed listening to the rock band RUSH. He liked listeming to the song “Tom Sawyer”.

They say that a cousin is like your first best friend and that’s what Ernie was to me. Not just a cousin, but a friend for life. My heart breaks now, but i know for sure Ernie is in a better place. If anyone ever had a non-stop, one way ticket to heaven, it would be Ernie.

    God Bless all of you,

    – Cousin Lloyd

    1. Dear Lloydie,
      That was so sweet!
He loved you dearly. You never treated him differently. You loved him and he knew it.
As I reflect on his life, and I’m doing that quite a bit, NOTHING was more important than you, and our family. You spent more time with him than other cousins, you knew him first.
      You’re so lucky.
I miss the hell out of him.
I’m trying to keep things positive, staying joyful, and making myself believe things that many times I question.
I’ll never forget his big smile, his purity in his words and actions,.
I, too, loved him so deeply
You fought for him, and I’m forever grateful that you were never afraid.
I’ll live you forever, as I know he will too.
I love you Pidge, you are also
      An awesome father.
      😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘

  2. Orlando Family
I am so sad to hear that another Ernest Orlando has what I call “moved to the other side”. It’s very hard for everyone living knowing that they will not be able to see and talk with him but, He now enjoys time with Pops, Non, Dad and all his Aunts and Uncles. My Dad, Uncle Gav, probably already has him playing baseball with the rest of the guys. I only wish I could take some of the heartache and pain from all who mourn his passing. He’s in a safe place.

    Love & Prayers
    Laura Orlando Siracusa
