Elizabeth Schubkegel, age 92, of Countryside, formerly of Oak Lawn and Chicago, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 30, 2019. Elizabeth was born January 28, 1927 to Philipp and Elisabetha Moehler. Elizabeth was the cherished sister of the late Philipp (Barbara) Moehler and the late Johann Moehler. Elizabeth was the beloved wife of Andrew for 70 years. Loving mother of Elizabeth (David) Steeb and Andrew (Michele) Schubkegel. Devoted grandmother of Katherine (Robert) Naurath, David Jr. (Linda) Steeb, Grace Schubkegel and Nicholas Schubkegel. Dear great-grandmother of Mikayla, Hannah and Leah Steeb and Grace, Andrew, Grant and Charles Naurath. Visitation 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Interment to follow at Cedar Park Cemetery, Calumet Park.
