Sandy Schauer
Sandy Schauer (nee Yost), age 76, of Willow Springs. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Schauer. Loving mother of Scott and Richard (Donna Hattey) Schauer. Devoted grandmother of Corey Hattey and Olivia Schauer. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emily Yost, and her sibling-in-laws Warren (Dorothy) and Terry. Fond aunt and friend of many. Sandy was owner of Schauer’s Hardware and Schauer’s Hallmark in Forest Park, IL. She previously owned hardware stores in Chicago and Winfield. She was a wonderful grandmother and mom and will be deeply missed. Visitation 3 to 8pm Thursday, June 13th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where visitation continues at 10am Friday, June 14th until time of Funeral Service 11am. Scott, Richard and Family for sure you have a Guardian Angel looking out for you all now. She was an awesome lady and a even better friend. She was like family to our family and we will truly miss her. She will also we missed by all of the Mariner Family in January in Florida. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.
