Greyson said grandpa Ed played catch with him and went to his games. Avery said “he played with me”. I’ll remember his great sense of humor and his laugh.

We send our condolences and prayers for Ed and his family. We are so sorry for your loss. I always remember the great times we all had together growing up and getting together with all our cousins and aunts and uncles. May God bless you all.
I knew Ed from the coffee room at work (first in Downers Grove, then in Chicago), where we’d find each other frequently and talk about Naperville, grandkids, train schedules etc. I’m so shocked to hear this sad news and want the family to know that they are in my thoughts. Ed was such a hard worker – always at work at the crack of dawn and still there when I was leaving. I will miss seeing yet another familiar face at work.
Our heartfelt condolences to the entire family.
