We are very sorry for the loss of your brother, Ed .
Reading all the comments above sounds like he lived a life full of activities, sharing his joys and faith with friends and family.
My Dad, your Uncle Rudy, loved visiting “ The Heflers’ of Countryside” when he had the desire to fly home to Chicago. Your gifts of hospitality towards him was much appreciated. We also enjoyed your visit to NJ to see us some years ago.
God bless you both. May you find peace in the warm embrace of so many fond, loving, and joyful memories with Ed.

  13. Just discovered this while perusing this website for the last time. Ed, my locker-mate sophomore year at LT!! One of the best classmates I had. Oh, I am so sad. I am so sorry I did not find out about this when it happened! Ed, you left us just as the Covid mess was beginning, and you did not have to endure that. Yet I can’t say whether that is a good thing or not. But our years at LT were the best, despite all that was going on even back then, but still so infinitely much better than the time we are in the midst of now. You are missing some absolutely crazy things happening., I am sure you would find it all as unbelievable as I. But as Boomers we still had a good run. RIP, my erstwhile classmate and friend.
