Mircea Trambitas, age 72, of Farmington Hills, MI passed away November 06, 2020.
A talented engineer with a gift for numbers, Mircea will most be remembered for how he selflessly spent every day going out of his way to improve the lives of those around him. He loved to ski, dance, and entertain, and was always the life of the party. His heroic effort emigrating from Romania is a true immigrant’s tale that will benefit his family and the country for generations to come. He deeply loved his entire family and is survived by his beloved wife Stela, his daughter Andreea Alm and her husband Joseph, his son Alexandru M. Trambitas, his granddaughters Madison and Emma Alm, and countless extended relatives and friends whom he considered family. Visitation to be held Tuesday, November 10 from 9am until time of chapel service, 12pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street in Countryside. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be given to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org/donate. Funeral Home Phone: 708-352-6500
May he rest in peace! I had the chance to meet him, i was his hair dresser for a short period, he was always kind, we watched funny Romanian videos on YouTube which brought him great joy, also watched tennis together a few times….i will always remember him!
Condolences to his wife Stela, and his children ! May God give you strength in these hard times!
Our deepest sympathy. “May the angels welcome him to paradise; May the martyrs meet him on his way; May he see the face of the Lord this day,; Alleluia, alleluia “.
May you remember the good times fondly.
We have such fond memories of Mircea… He was able to fix everything and anything, he was always helping everyone around him, he gave the best toast at my wedding, he helped move our family in record time on New Year’s Day, he was the most meticulous and organized person I have ever known…
We will cherish his memory for years to come.
May he Rest In Peace!
