As a child, I loved visiting Auntie Alice and Uncle Henry on July 4th. We had such wonderful times, playing in the woods, feeding an apple to the horse with one eye. Auntie Alice was so kind and pleasant. She always made us feel so welcome. Hers was a life well lived.
Sending Prayers for comfort and strength to the Buege family-Alice and Henry were such dear friends to my parents (Ruth and Harold Hess) for so many years.
Always will remember the fun times on the Fourth of July with a great family, exploring the property, softball at the church, fireworks and food with watermelon after, felt welcome every year by the whole Buege bunch, so so sorry for your loss
Alice was always a kind and gentle host.
My dear sister Alice never failed to send her little brother abirthday card. She had her twin girls when I was in England in the army. I always thought she was the perfect mother for twins. Im so thankful that we will meet again in glory.
