Passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021 with her family at her side.

Loving mother of Jason Goetz and devoted partner of Ken Templin. Cherished daughter of Virginia Wendt and the late Edward O. Wendt Jr.; beloved sister to Ed, Keith (Tersenia), Claudia Vann (Dennis), Linda Pissare (Michael), Tom (Anne) and Laurie Koehler (Marty). Proud aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Cindy spent much of her life as a resident of LaGrange, IL and attended St. Cletus & Nazareth Academy. She found a love for art at Briar Cliff University and continued that passion throughout her life.

Cindy’s thoughtfulness for others stood out through her love of teaching and coaching.  Over the years her kind heart found a home in several different capacities at Plymouth Place. “Sweet Cindy” was a lover of nature, a friend to all she encountered, and made the world a more beautiful place.  

Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Cletus Church, 600 W. 55th St., LaGrange for 10 AM Funeral Mass on Monday, March 15th.  To keep everyone safe and healthy, registration is required and group limit of 130 guests permitted.
