At the time of her passing, she was a leader in regional accounting and finance operations for a rapidly growing information technology consulting company, Logically (formerly Carolinas IT, Inc.).
In her spare time, Melissa enjoyed drawing & painting, especially in the style of Bob Ross, indoor gardening, and watching (and quoting) every Madea movie ever made.

A private interment will take place on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
So sad to here. I knew her in the mid 90s and worked with her at Old Country Buffet in Downers Grove. She had a big smile and had wonderful expressions while also being elegant. I thought of her time to time and I learned of this by searching for her online. I never forgot her name. She was a phenomenal person.
