Your Legacy will go on with every Beat of your family’s Heart & every Breath they take♥️
All of you who know Marty, know that she is one in a million…special and loved by many. She was my college roomie at Augie and she kept multiple scrapbooks and journals – recording our memories for all time. In the fall of 2019 we met for our college reunion and spent hours re-reading those scrapbooks and journals. Oh how we laughed…and laughed…and laughed. I treasure those memories and give thanks that Marty was in my life. ‘WHAT YOU HOLD IN MEMORY, IS FOREVER YOURS.’ I love you, my friend!
Dear Marty,
11 years ago when I came to work for Mount Sinai you welcomed me in your team and trusted me representing it, you were incredibly kind and I always enjoyed our daily chats. I am so grateful for the privilege that was working with you. You touch my life in a way that only a special person will do. Dear friend you will leave in my live forever.
Rest in peace.
Oh Marty, what sad news! We go back to 1997 when I started at Sinai & we had many meetings solving the worlds problems at the California Conference room over the years. Working together on those early CAP surveys and so many other issues. You were always a genuinely nice person, a true professional at all times and just a great person to share a laugh with!
I met Marty in my freshman year
at Augie. She lived in a single across the hall from our room. We became dear friends and spent a lot of time with each other. We pledged different sororities but shared between us all the time. Marty was a ton of fun, smart as a whip and a friend for the ages. We always spent lots of time together at our class reunions. I am proud that she was my friend. We loved each other as dear friends do. I will miss her.
My heart goes out to her children and grandchildren. Their lives will never be the same.
God bless all of you.
Dear Mike, Karla, Lindsey and Adam-
Our deepest condolences.
Sending our thoughts and prayers.
Brian, Heidi, Tyson, Skylar and Sadie Splinter
Marty was the youngest of my mother’s generation of 9 cousins from 3 families. Over the years there were many family reunions; and although our different “branches” have stayed in touch in different ways and degrees, we have all cherished our common “tree” (which Lori Reed so beautifully illustrated the last time we had that opportunity.) Those were precious times when dozens of relatives from all over the country made the trip and we enjoyed genuine affection and goodwill from each other. Another leaf joins those that have fallen. Marty’s memory and her family’s, and our family’s, loss is on my heart today.
So sorry to hear about Marty…I was privileged to do her hair for many years. We had a lot of laughs and enjoyed her company. Wish I would have known. Prayers to all
