Dolores “Dolly” Blackmore
Dolores “Dolly” Blackmore (nee Hlavacek), age 85, of Hinsdale. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Blackmore for a wonderful 58 years. Loving mother of Gregory E. (Debra Weisbecker) and Thomas J. (Diane) Blackmore. Devoted grandmother of Riley Blackmore. Dolly was an avid gardener and dog lover. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Isaac Jogues Church, Hinsdale. Details forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home at 708-352-6500.

My name is Joni and I was the nurse in Dr. Heinking’s office who took care of your mom for years. I retired 2 years ago due to health issues but Dolly was the patient and friend I always asked about. I am so sorry she had a difficult road but she was truly a fighter. She loved her family with all her heart and she always had. Some great stories. My sympathy to all of you and it was my privilege to know your mom. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.
