Margaret “Marge” McGrath (nee Casey), 95, devoted wife of the late Patrick E. McGrath; Loving mother of Patrick (Mary Ellen), Tom (Kathleen), Marty (Jean), Peggy (Carl) Olofson; Proud grandmother of Patrick (Susan), Julie (Tak) Louie, Judy (David Lobo), Patti, Elizabeth, Bridget, Brian (fiancé Abigail), Meghan, Fr. Jim Olofson, Mary Kate (Nick) Midlock, and Maggie Olofson; Cherished great-grandmother of Evan, Jillian, Leila, Emilio, and Tommy; Beloved sister of the late Nora Lyons, late James Casey, and late Tom Casey.   2. I grew up with Peg and spent much time at the McGrath House in LaGrange. I remember Mrs. McGrath as having a big part in my childhood. Such a nice lady. I will always remember her kindness.

Dear Pat, we arr so sorry to realize that your lovely Mother pas away a few days ago – Looking at the wonderful picture attached memories pops up from the many visit we (Suanne & Stig Nilsson – Viborg Denmark) did with your mom and dad 🥰 we always felt like a part of your family and was treated like the royal family 🙏 we sure know that Marge will travel first class at the last trip and we send you all a warm hug to share with Marge as the last farewell.   7. I met Marge when she joined SPRED some 35+ years ago. She became a dear friend over the years. Marge, Toni Makaroff and I were the “old gals”. Marge was strong, independent and so much fun! She will be truly missed and we will all be sharing our good memories for years to come.

  9. Marge has been a wonderfuld friend for all the many years I had the honor to share the Spred Ministry with her. Her presence lid up the room, her compassion, love and interest in our Special Friends and the Catechists inspired me. Marge had a great sense of humor and her laughter was contagious. I wil miss you so much! My heartfelt condolences to her loving family and her numerous friends!

  10. My deepest sympathy to the McGrath Family. I have never forgotten how welcome Marge made me feel many years ago as a new parishioner at St Francis & member of the Women’s Club. It was always so nice to see her at Mass. I am so happy I got to see her at Marian Hannigan’s funeral Mass.
