Roque Martinez, age 77, of Hodgkins. Beloved husband of the late Lupe Martinez; father of Anna Palomino, Rose Marie (Elias) Lopez, Jennifer Martinez, and Rocky Martinez Jr.; devoted grandfather of 15; dear great-grandfather of 6; cherished brother of 9 siblings. Preceded in death by his parents Manuel Martinez Briseno and Teresa Ortiz Aceves. Fond Uncle and friend to many.
He was known as a great diesel mechanic and loyal friend. Papa loved his grandkids very much and was an avid gardener. Papa always loved telling jokes and playing them on everyone. He taught us all how to enjoy life, and he will be missed tremendously by his family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 23, 2021 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, Mass to proceed at St. Cletus Church at 11:30 AM. Mass will be available to view via livestream at: https://www.youtube.com/user/stcletusparish. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
