Mildred “Millie” Hart, age 92, lifelong resident of Countryside, born October 27, 1929 in the Philippines and passed away February 14, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Otis. Loving mother of Richard (Mary) Hart and Christopher (Julie) Hart. Devoted grandmother of Jerry (Marilou) Hart, Joyce (Charlie) Metoyer, Jenny (Ryan Stoddard) Hart, Gina (Geno) Ketelaar, Joey (Liz) Piccioli, Peter Hart, Lily (Austin) Wilson and Will Hart. Cherished great-grandmother of 12. Millie is also survived by many relatives in the Philippines, Australia, the United States and beyond. She was preceded in death by her siblings Jovita, Pedong, Domingo and Nano. Millie will be remembered as a devoted homemaker who enjoyed dancing and gardening. The family would like to express their thanks to Sunny Hill Nursing Home who lovingly cared for Millie these many years. Visitation 2-6 p.m. Sunday Feb. 20th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday Feb. 21st.
