Margaret Mau-Bazeluk

Margaret Mau-Bazeluk, 90, passed on Friday, Feb 18 peacefully at home after a brave, six-year battle with lung cancer. She joins her husband Harold, who passed in 1990, and her three siblings Carmella, Madeline and Tony. Margaret leaves behind her husband Richard, her children Nancy and Robert, 3 grandchildren Michael Schafer, Jennifer (Rich) Tepavchevich, and Rebecca Schafer-Short. Also three great-grandchildren Michael Schafer, Elise and Nora Tepavchevich, along with Richard’s children, Lisa Bazeluk, Daniel (Sandy) Bazeluk, & David Bazeluk; grandchildren Brittany Fitzsimmons, Brandon (Colleen) Bazeluk, & Bobby Bazeluk; and great-granddaughter Olivia Bazeluk. Margaret also leaves behind 4 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, February 22 from 3:00to 9:00 pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers 9:15am from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church for 10:00 am Mass on Wednesday, February 23. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Indian School or ProMedica Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral info: (708) 352-6500

  2. So sorry to hear about Marge’s passing. She played a big part of my father’s Practice, and forever a part of our family. So sorry we weren’t more available in recent years – she will always be in our heart and in our memories!

    1. Thank you Charles! The loss is hard to bear. Mom always talked about the happy times working with your dad. She often mentioned that she hoped you, John and Maria were healthy and successful, as well as your mom.

    An iron infusion appt. does not allow me to attend, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
