  1. To Sara, Susan, and Bill,
I was so sad to hear about Howie, and long time friend and Gourmet Club Buddy. We had so many years of closeness as good friends, but age has taken it’s toll, and there are just a few of us left. I didn’t hear from Howie at Christmas time, and I should have called. I didn’t know he was ill, and Char Blessman has trouble remembering, so until I heard from Lee Antonio, I didn’t know he had passed. I am so sorry for your loss, but that is life! He left a wonderful legacy of service and devotion to family, and I know you’re all so proud of the Dad and man he was. Blessings to you all, Bev Banks
