Devoted grandfather of Gabriella Dupont (Jacob Keal), Marissa Dupont, Gianna Benda and Allegra Benda. Dear uncle of many. Vincent is preceded in death by 9 siblings.
Funeral Mass 10am Thursday, March 31, 2022 at St. Alexander Catholic Church, 7025 West 126th Street, Palos Heights, Illinois 60463. Private interment at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Catholic Charities appreciated.

I just learned of the passing of our MOST BELOVED & ADMIRED Herman Felsenthal Elementary School Principal, affectionately referred to as Mr. C. We loved him and he loved us during one of the most tumultuous times of our ongoing quest for civil rights in our country and especially in our very segregated City. Thousands of us, who passed through the hallowed halls of our VERY urban elementary school will be forever grateful for his genuine kind-heartedness and gentle manner! He was the epitome of a great principal! Rest Well, Sir!
Hello Jewel Hamilton you may or may not remember me but for grammar school I went to Herman Felsenthal too and lived right next to it in a courtway building on the 3rd floor and remember our beloved Principal Mr. Vincent Castro Geovanni also I remember you too because we both were in the same classroom together along with Gerald Hall, Alfonso Motley ect. my name is Avery Mullins.

I have been look in for him forever. He was my Principal at Jesse Owen’s preparatory magnet school in 1984 on 124th State St.. in Chicago Illinois. He made a huge difference in my school. Just thinking of him this morning telling my mom how good Principals use to be.
