Kenneth R. Schroeder, age 77, proud US Army Veteran, of Lombard. Loving father of James (Ashley) Schroeder and Steve (Michelle); devoted grandfather of Nicholas, Christopher, Ava, Maddy, Joseph, Stephanie and Emily; dear brother of Susan (Donald) Belling; fond uncle and friend of many. Preceded in death by his loving partner, Trudy Cummings.

Kenneth was awarded a Bronze Star for bravely serving the Army. He was an avid wine collector and consignor, often traveling to different regions for wine. Kenneth’s passion and hobby were making clocks.

Visitation 4 to 8 on Tuesday, July 5th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, where a funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 6th. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Darien.
