Daniel G. Jaszi, age 69, of Darien, Illinois.  Son of the late George and the late Helen Jaszi, brother of Peter Jaszi.

 

A gifted man, Dan received a BA from Princeton University, a JD from Columbia Law School, a LLM in taxation from New York University, and an MBA from Washington University.  He worked as a lawyer and accountant, with a special expertise in employee benefits law and administration.

 

Along with his talent and gregarious personality, Dan suffered during much of his adult life with chronic illness, which he accepted with a Christian spirit.  He was often effusive in his expressions of gratitude toward the many people who helped him over the years.

 

Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday Sept. 3rd in the oratory of Darien Study Center, where Dan lived.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home 630-964-6500.
