Mervyn “Merv” Claire Phillips, Jr; age 89 of Oak Brook, Illinois passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022.  Beloved husband to Mercedes (nee Severns) for 67 years.  Loving Father of the late M.C. (Cindy) Phillips, Melissa (Tim) Meyer and Madonna Brown.  Cherished Grandpa of Chip, Kim, Michael, Lauren, Matthew, Claire, Maggie and Shawn.  Great Grandpa to 10 and growing.  Brother to the late Frank Phillips and Royal Phillips.

Merv was a business man for many years with Griffith Foods and then J.H. Chapman Group.  His hobby of working on cars was extensive.  He also enjoyed golf, snowmobiling and hanging with the extended family at the cottage…so many fun memories!

Interment was private with family.
