Robert A. Nugent, age 73, of Countryside, IL; Beloved husband of Shirley; loving father of Amanda Noel (Allan) Walters and Kristin Allyn (Wallace) Grigsby; dear grandfather of Anthony Nugent, Katlyn Walters, and Evelyn Rae Grigsby; fond brother of James (Cathy) Nugent, the late Ruth Ann (Jim) Nowak, the late Joan Evoy, and Gwen (David Carter); son of the late Evelyn and late Ralph Nugent; also survived by his beloved dog, Cinnamon. Robert was the proud dog father to Jake, Bella, and Cooper.

Visitation 3 to 9pm Tuesday, January 31st at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Will lie-in-state from 10am until time of Service, 11am on Wednesday, February 1st at Zion Lutheran Church, 5865 S. Archer Rd., Summit. Interment private. Additional information at 708-352-6500

  3. Bob was the guy that really made you feel loved & missed when you seen him .This world lost a gentle kind man .. on behalf of me & the CYC yacht club I wish the family love & prayers.. Gonna miss ya greatly Bob ..
