John S. Wallace, 73 of Woodridge, Illinois, died at home unexpectedly on Feb 23rd.  John was born in Akron, Ohio on Feb. 18, 1950.  He graduated from Akron University. He was married to Janet, the love of his life, on June 10, 1978 and they would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this year.

John had a successful career starting as a route driver at Hostess, and later joined Entenmann’s where he was promoted to sales manager in Chicago.  He then joined great Northern Packaging which started his packaging and display sales career.  John began J Wallace and Associates Incorporated in 2002, and finished an illustrious career there.  He was recently retired.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and John, his brothers Mark (Linda) and Charles (Peggy).  He is survived by one brother, Joey, nephews Chris and Mark, niece Sheri (Mc Mahon) and Eric Winter who was a son to John and Janet.

John was a friend to many and trusted by all and will be greatly missed.
