Edward George Cameron, 66, of Woodridge. Beloved husband of Rose. Loving brother of Colette (Ray) Perreault, Thomas (Linda) Cameron, and Lenore (Ken) Vlnar. Dear uncle of Renee (Andrew) Scheeler and Kevin Perreault. Cherished son of LaVerne and the late Lester Cameron. Visitation 3 to 9pm with Funeral Service at 8pm Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th Street, Downers Grove. Interment private. Ed was a computer programmer by trade, but his true passion was performing on stage as a keyboardist, vocalist and a harmonicist in two bands: Hard Wire and Vinyl Destination. Ed was such a kind soul. Always upbeat, I don’t think I ever heard an angry word come out of his mouth. My heart goes out to Rose and his family. Take comfort in the knowledge that heaven is brighter with his light. A donation to St. Jude has been made in his honor.
