Marilyn Theresa Thomas, age 92, of LaGrange Park, formerly of Western Springs. Born in Green Bay, WI to Celestin and Gertrude, Marilyn passed away on November 27, 2023. Beloved wife of John L. “Jack” Thomas for a wonderful 70 years. Loving mother of Michael (Linda), Charles (Patricia), Stephen (Celia) and Scott. Devoted grandmother of Suzie (Joshua) Osterman, Kristy (Max Guerin) Thomas, Cindy, C.J. (Sarah), Chris (Kate), Mariann (Mike) Arena, Kat (Nate) Leahy and Marie (Drew) Johnson. Dear great-grandmother of 12. Cherished sister of Karen (Bob) Krause and Sandra (Steve) Cousins. Fond aunt and friend of many.

Marilyn will be remembered for her love of family. She loved to travel, play tennis and golf, and was an avid bridge player. The holidays were Marilyn’s favorite time of year, especially spending them with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 15^th at Plymouth Place Dole Hall, 315 N. LaGrange Road, LaGrange Park, with a reception to follow until 4pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Plymouth Place Endowment Fund.
