Jacquie M. Flood, age 92, formerly of LaGrange Park; beloved wife of the late Paul Flood; loving mother of Nancy (Dave) Gangler, Kathi (Bill) Duffy, Paul (Pam) Flood, Pat (Karen) Flood, & Bob (Penny) Flood; proud grandmother of Dave (Katie), Jacquie (Steve), Mark (Allison), Bill (Kate), Paul III, Peter, Christine, Catherine, Matthew, & Prae Wa; great-grandmother of Charlotte, Oliver, Elliot, Felix, Wesley, & Willy; dear sister of Nancy (Jerry) Johnson; dear aunt, cousin, & friend of many.

Jacquie loved traveling with family and friends. She treasured her keepsakes brought back from trips to Russia, Egypt, Machu Picchu, Petra, Mexico, Ireland, Italy, and France. Jacquie never met a beach she didn’t like, but her absolute favorite was at the family cottage along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Michigan. She is fondly remembered for hosting holiday events at her LaGrange Park home and summer dinners at the cottage. Jacquie enjoyed watercolors, books, Arizona, sweatshirts, Michigan blueberries, and a perpetual tan. She will be missed by her family and friends, including friends at Sunrise Assisted Living in Willowbrook, IL. Heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and medical staff who supported Jacquie over the last few years.

Family & friends will meet at St. Francis Xavier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., LaGrange, IL 60525 for 10am Mass on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held mid-January. Additional details forthcoming.
