Camille Rykaczewski, age 85, of Countryside, passed away suddenly on August 11th, 2024.

Beloved mother of Celeste (Anthony) Bilotta, Cynthia ONeill, Caryn (Jeffrey) Rice, and Cherin Rykaczewski; cherished grandmother of Zachary (BreeAnn) and Joshua Rice, Jay and Joseph Bilotta; loving sister of Paulette (Lawrence) Sawyer and Susan (Rick) Macejak; adored former spouse of the late Daniel; fond aunt and friend of many.

 

Camille had endless love for her family and friends.

Her four daughters were her life’s pride and joy.

She adored her four grandchildren and was excited to become a great grandmother in November 2024.

 

She loved to travel to places like Phoenix and Florida, and Vegas back in the day.

We were able to make her dream of an Alaskan cruise with her girlfriends come true. We took a trip to Memphis and Graceland to complete her 80th birthday celebration.

Every summer, she single handedly packed up all the girls to stay in a cottage at Indiana Beach in Monticello.

 

She had a green thumb for her 100 plants, loved sunflowers and feeding the hummingbirds.

A great day would be a trip to the dollar store, grabbing her Sunday papers, and grocery shopping at Tony’s.

Every single day she cooked full meals for herself. If you were lucky enough, you were able to enjoy her world famous ham roll ups and delicious chicken salad.

She was the original fashionista with her color matching purses and a thousand shoes.

She lit up the room with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh.

She will surely be missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
